Marisa Dewa

Born and raised in Honolulu, Marisa Dewa is a graduate of Punahou School. As a former piano student of the late Ellen Masaki, she has performed as a soloist in both Youth and Community concerts with the Honolulu Symphony Orchestra, (now known as the Hawaii Symphony Orchestra), including a Starlight Concert at the Waikiki Shell.

Marisa holds a Bachelor's degree in History and Piano Performance from Oberlin College/Conservatory and a Master's in Architecture from SCI_Arc. She now lives and works in Los Angeles with her husband and son. The Ghost of Aloha Tower is her first novel and she is currently working on a second.

She also writes short, anecdotal narrative essays from time to time which she posts to her blog.
