I fell in love with this opera when I first saw and heard it at the age of sixteen, no doubt due to the combination of David Hockney's set design with Stravinsky's score. To this day I continue to be awed and inspired by this stunning production of The Rake's Progress. You can hear a clip of it and see the actual sets as well as Hockney's sketches at the following website. I can't recommend it enough...
